I think of my first ballet teacher whenever it snows here . She used to announce, “It’s snowing down south” if someone in the class was wearing underwear under her tights and leotard. (Because you’re not supposed to, and if you do your underwear will inevitably bunch out under the leotard and become visible through your tights at the hips. A crime totally worth humiliating someone in front of the whole class over.)
So anyway - it wasn’t much and school wasn’t even canceled but it we enjoyed it while it was here.
